Bingo is a game enjoyed by young and old, whether it is a traditional bingo hall in the heart of Atlanta, or online game in your home in the UK. Bingo has been around since 1530 when it was first traced to an Italian lottery called “Lo Giuoco del Lotto D’Italia,” which is still played every Saturday in Italy. It continued moving to France and reached the US in 1929. It was a country fair game where a dealer would select numbered discs from a cigar box and players would mark their cards with beans. They yelled “beano” if they won. Someone accidentally yelled BINGO and since that day it has its name. Since I was a youngster I have been playing Bingo. The rush you get when you have one number left is unlike any other. Or the count down until one left? Bingo should be enjoyed and played by all. Not only is it a fun game, but it’s a social outing!
